Built by Dutch yard Heesen to Lloyd’s class, Alida is a fast displacement motor yacht with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. She is one of the most advanced yachts in her class, due in large part to her unique, fast displacement hull design by renowned naval architect Van Oossanen.
The client, an experienced boater, was introduced to the shipyard by Barin Cardenas of The New Yachts Company, a boutique Fort Lauderdale-based firm dedicated to new yacht construction.
RADYCA, a Miami-based design firm, is in charge of the interior styling. They are working closely with the shipyard to ensure that the client’s taste is incorporated into the space, creating a sophisticated, tailor-made, unique experience.
Simplicity, warmth and comfort through the use of select materials, and a high level of craftsmanship, are the key ingredients in the creation of Alida’s refined interior. The overall design is for an owner who understands luxury, relaxation and entertainment while yachting.
